The 1911 is known for its ability to attain a crisp and light trigger pull with a little tuning, the 1911 sear is a critical component in achieving that. The EGW 1911 sear is fully machined from proprietary US tool steel, then vacuum heat treated for the best possible combination of strength, wear-resistance and durability. EGW sears have a neutral geometry.
