Step into the World of Technical Diving

The PADI Tec Basics program at DiveCampus is your introduction to the exciting realm of technical diving. This optional course helps you become familiar with double-tank equipment configurations and advanced diving skills, building a solid foundation before progressing to the PADI Tec 40 course.

DiveCampus is the only place in UAE where you train the right way straight from the confined dive with our indoor DiveTank which is 4 meters deep and has an underwater mirror that helps you check your trim, adjust positioning and gear instantly. 

Combining dry runs and in-water sessions, the PADI Tec Basics course develops and refines the fundamental skills that reduce stress, increase efficiency, and make technical diving both safer and more enjoyable.

Through hands-on practice and guided training, you’ll learn how to set up, handle, and dive with technical equipment while applying the team procedures and techniques essential to tec diving.

• Apply advanced propulsion and maneuvering techniques
• Master equipment management and problem-solving
• Practice unified team procedures and underwater communication
• Strengthen situational awareness and emergency response skills

Pre-requisites:

• A PADI Advanced Open Water Diver
• A PADI Enriched Air Diver with at least 10 dives using enriched air deeper than 18 metres/60 feet
• Min. 15 years old and above

The course includes:

• PADI Tec Basics eLearning
• One Confined Water Dive
• One Open Water Dive 
• Equipment Rental during the course - Backplate-Doubles/Sidemount BCD, Twin Regulators, Stage Regulators, Wetsuit, Mask, Tanks, Weights

Equipments requirement: 

We provide the standard set up as part of the course - So Backplate-Doubles/Sidemount BCD, Twin Regulators, Stage Regulators, Wetsuit, Mask, Tanks, Weights are included in the course price. 

Note however Accessories/Equipments for redundancy are not included and can be rented or purchased during the course - you need: 2 x mask, 2 x cutting tool, 1 orange and 1 yellow SMB, 1 wet note OR 1 arm slate, 2 x Dive Computer, 1 x Lift Bag, 60m Spool.

To store all of this equipment you will need your own Tec Shorts, these are not available on rent and need to be purchased.
